I work at a Humane Association and have a rescued chihuahua, Papi, who just had to have his left foreleg amputated after multiple breaks would not heal. I plan to have him certified through our Therapy Dog program and have him visit those with traumatic injuries and amputations in children's hospitals, veterans homes, and rehab facilities.

Oh my gosh, so cute and really stylish. I love the colours and bling. So I have an idea for you since you are obviously crafty and were asking about sweaters with only one leg hole. I’ve knit myself wrist warmers with one hole for the thumb. Here are some directions for making a wrist warmer from an old sweater: http://www.northerncheapskate.com/up-cycling-a-cashmere-sweater-into-wrist-warmers
Okay, it doesn’t have to be cashmere. I’m wondering if the sleeve would be too narrow for Trihuahua’s chest but it’s an idea.
OOOOOOO.MMMMDDDDD!!! I am on cuteness overload!!!! I’m in looooove with Papi!!! Head over heels in love!!!
Every single picture has me grinning ear to ear! Shemis sooooo sweet!!!
And you did a spectacular job of decorating her cast! So fun!
The one of her in her little “pouch” with her antler ears…laying next to Roly…those soulful and gentle eyes in each photo….PRECIOUS!!!
What a spectacular group of photos of a courageous little girl! I’m sooooo glad she has her forever home with you! She deserves a good life now, and she clearly has it!
Lots of hugs!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Do you knit? Here are some lovely knitted sweaters where the knitter could just skip one of the arms:
